Democracy is a journey, not a fixed location or destination. The values of sharing with openness, respect and love are all ideals which we achieve by degrees and not absolutes. The stage has never been level in the history of mankind, but gets more level with time. We discover that another milestone always lies ahead in history. We may or may not witness the shift in our lifetimes, but progress, we must.
